What is the most despised race?

Yeah, in the Dark Elf trilogy, Drizzt's weapons of choice were considered unusual. But of course, by that time, it was 2e and drow no longer had ultimate dual wield.

Well, considering that the dual-wielding aspect of the male drow is part of their cultural upbringing and instructional teaching, what do you expect from most of them? To turn their backs and start wielding single handed maces or flails when they are taught from a very young age to fight a certain style.

The problem that people seem to have about it is that in earlier editions of the game it supposedly went against what was in the RAW concerning two-weapon fighting. That may not be the case today, although one will often read comments about how TSR rewrote the rules to allow dual wielding drow munchkins.

And for the record, I really don't care what drow fight with. I brought it up because it's frequently mentioned in descussions about drow.
