What is the volume of a Fireball?

Yeah - many people tended to forget that even on a wide-open plain, a volumetric fireball tended to expand a quarter larger than its listed radius... since you generally cast it centred at ground level, so you get a hemisphere with the same volume as the theoretical sphere...

Also, don´t forget volume displaced by PCs, NPCs and dungeon dressing.

Heh. Well, when you're talking in terms of tens of thousands of cubic feet, a few cubic feet for each PC isn't going to make much difference to the radius.

But yeah, that's why I specified the wide-open plain, to avoid such niggles
