What Is Your Adventuring Groups Name?

Group Names

I have had the honor of naming two groups as of late:

The Sometimes Six is a group in a long running Hackmaster campaign. We have a core group of five players....and then sometimes we have six....

The Dragon Dogs was created recently for a Forgotten Realms campaign after we slew a small dragon-like creature that look more like a dog. We skinned it, and paid 100 gold to get it cured for a battle standard. Like many bands of adventures, we travel frequently. Our catch phrase is "Dragon Dogs ride!" with the standard bearer leading the way. We make quite an entrance into cities...

I remembered some more:

Guardians of Ravenclaw (No, this was well before HP)

Krump's Clubbers

The Rabid Squirrels (I attacked them with rabid Squirrels, a protacted and nasty fight, and they liked the name)

Order of the Diamond Cup (A million GP Diamond Cup that they got as treasure, but couldn't sell because no one could afford to buy it :] )

Eyes of Tyr

Rat Slayers (They earned many XP levels fighting Were Rats)

The Transformers (everyone in the party had something that allowed them to polymorph/shapechange)

Slaad Slayers (Guess what they spent a LOT of time fighting.)

Company of the Sunken Shield

Company of the Shield

Company of the Green Shield

That may be all of the names PC groups have used. Man this is bringing back memories. Many from 20+ years ago! Cool.

The Order of the Magic Cow

Part Scarred Lands group, part social experiment gone horribly, horribly wrong.

-Tom

The Avengers
The Replacements
Hoo-ah! (H.O.A. - Heroes of Arabel)
Black Flag
The Beach Mods (don't ask, I never understood it myself)

Don't really recall any others. The last two were actually used for a MSH game.

99% of the time, there's no name.

The current party gets called "Conor's Company" by the authorities on occassion, as they are semi-affiliated with the military, and Conor is the (elected) party leader.

In RECON, we had some appropriate unit name. I believe they were:
25th Infantry Division "Tropic Lightning"
HQ Battalion
25th LRRP (Long Range Recon Patrol) Company (Provisional)
Scout Dog Team
