I've had an odd urge lately to play a laid back, halfling druid with an animist bent on the philosophy. Most of the druid PCs and prominent NPCs on my DM's world have been human or elven and have either been ruthless enforcers of the balance, or borderline feral.

I think a relaxed, subtle approach would be a breath of fresh air.

Female gnome illusionist/rogue. Constantly pulling pranks on the group, making smart-aleck cracks at them, and being a general pain in the butt. A smart little girl really.

(At the dwarven ranger) "Grimmy, wash your beard, I can see what you had for lunch... a week ago!"

(At the male elven sorcerer) "Just leave it to the men, okay, us girls can sit back and watch."

(Out of character, to the whole group in general) "Dude, I can't believe my little gnome girl has more HP than the dwarf."

I've always wanted to play a Paladin that is a little delusional(sp) to the point that he thinks he is the messiah. It would certainly make for some interesting role playing oppurtunities.

a old wizard thats been drained down to 1st level so he knows lots of things as an adventure but can't do the things he used to
seeks revenge for the deaths of his old party

a elf ranger/ Drow racist
low charisma( everything wrong is the drows fault, they take our land, jobs, women, they dress and smell funny) every plot has something to do with drow

a wizard that was killed, due to his apprentice clumsiness
the apprentice tryed to help bring him back but could only find a druid so he is now a monkey
he sits on the apprentices shoulder and casts spells as the apprentice gestures (ie familar)
MOJO JOJO

My Characters...

"An ogre cleric - charming, well groomed, perpetually forgiving of people's misconceptions and disappointed with his own people in general."

I'm sorry Impeesa, I'm just going to have to steal that character from you! I love it! Here are mine:

The Vain Paladin: An incredibly handsome paladin who knows he is incredibly handsome and must cover his face in shame.

The Faceless Stranger: A rogue that goes out in a different disguise each time so that not even his fellow adventurers know him (or is it her...?)

My Girlfriend: A druid with a wombat for an animal companion.

I'm currently playing a 'lady of negotiable affection' (3 levels of rogue, one of sorcerer) and loving it, especially with her +11 Bluff.

I've always wanted to put together a great divination based character.

Someone who was a complete information and planning junkie with lots of investments in security stuff and trapmaking. Fairly close to ruthless.

Sort of like Hannibal from A-Team.

Only with lots of cleric levels.

And a dwarf.

And somewhere in the neutral alignments.

With trap making and divination domains.

And levels of either ranger or rogue.

And feats for bola use and sophisticated dire weasel slinging system use.

ooooohhhhh, yyyyeeeeeaaaaahhhh!!!

I know what my PCs are gonna face tomorrow!!!
