what is your favorite D&D dice

Another vote for the (non-existent) d30. That thing's amazing. I'd love to see a d100, though...

d12, mainly for its shape and mysteriously under-used existence. I feel so excited and powerful when I get to roll that d12 .

You wouldn't IMC, LOL, i've house ruled all untrained skill checks are rolled with a D12. Makes that first rank just a little more special.

If a bully down the street is chasing you...you can always use a handful of them as caltrops, and make a great escape.

I like the plain ordinary d6. Being a cube you can always use them to build a fort around your minature.

I'm utterly shocked at how many people like the d12. It's my second-to-least favorite, right behind the d4, that i hate.

Of course my fave over the years is the d20, but I voted d4 because the question said "was".

I remember the first time I saw the d4...

-"How can you tell how you rolled ?"

-"Look at the bottom of all the faces"

Plus, I am the only person I know who can actually make it spin !

Hey I have a d30 and use it every session (for large monsters), I've recently reaquired the d30 book published by the Armory.
