What is your favorite winter comfort food?

Chicken Pot Pie. Got a recipe recently for some awesome home made lil' bricks of love. Makes six 6"x3"x4" or so yummy, crusty fresh from the freezer pot pies. Just need to anticipate being hungry about a hour and a half in advance as they take quite a while to cook. But worth it.

Piping hot & spicy Vietnamese Pho noodle soup with thin slices of flank steak

Mine is a Flemish stew made with beef, carrots, onions, dark beer and pumpernickel bread smeared with mustard (as a thickening agent). I cook it in a cast iron dutch oven for at least 3 hours and it is Oh So Delicious.

My favorite Comfort Foods are PB & Honey on Potato Bread, New England Clam Chodwer and Ramen Stew with spices.

Then there's the French side of me that goes for Moules Mariniere and Steak au Poivre.

Toast and cocoa. I dip the toast in the cocoa. By the end theres a thin layer of butter on the cocoa. I drink the cocoa. It is good cocoa.
