What kind of Earth society/culture would you like written up?

Thanks for your clarification Tonguez.

If people can still find them around, the OD&D Gazeteers and Mystara campaign setting covered a hell of a lot of Earth cultures between them. With the exception of the Demi-human ones, just about every country was an Earth ripoff. They roughly equate as:

Thyatis = Rome
Karameikos = The Balkans in Roman times
Darokin = Renaissance Italy
Atruaghin Clans = North American Indians
Azcan Empire & Oltecs = Aztecs & Olmecs
Ethengar Khanate = Mongolia
Glantri = microcosm of Western Europe
Nithia = Ancient Egypt
Northern Reaches = Viking/Scandanavia
Sind/Shajapur = India
Tanagoro = Africa
Ylarum = Arabia

For a very rough overview of the lot try the Poor Wizards Almanac.

Also, another thing of interest on this topic was a recent issue of roleplayingtips.com which looked at creating fantasy cultures using Toynbee's Challenge and Response theory.

The aboriginal culture of Australia hasn't come up yet. That would probably run 3rd for me right behind India and some pacific island cultures.

No offense to the aboriginies but I don't think that they would make a terribly interesting campaign area. Very few adventure ideas, at least for me.

Depend on what part of their history you want to look at. They did move into a continent completely devoid of other humans and filled with exotic creatures that had never dealt with man. Had they avoided the human instinct to hunt all their large land animals to death, they might have become a significant force in the world. And they have an unusual worldview, if what I've heard about them is at all true.

EDIT: As I think about it, it's not so much an aboriginal sourcebook I'd like as to see that worldview adapted to a more successful culture in a game-world.

The Weimar Republic. Now that's a setting crying out for a horror game!

Plus, you get to kick proto-Nazi butt. At least, when they aren't busy doing the same to you...

While we are at it, let's burn down the chancellery and blame it on the commys! Oh boy, what fun!!!!!!
Know of any good beer halls in Bayern?
