What Kinda Game Would You Want To Play At GenCon

At cons I like to play in the games I don't get to play in at home. So, I doubt I'll play d20 at all. I want to try an Ars Magica game, Paranoia, and perhaps something ewlse I never get to play.

I'm hoping to play in a Buffy game, a WEG Star Wars, a Shadowrun game, and probably a couple of RPGA classic D&D games. I'll also keep my eyes open for any appealing Noir, CP2020, Ars Magica, or Over the Edge games, but those can be difficult to find. Finally, depending on the format I may enter the poker tournament, a sealed-deck Magic tournament, and sometimes I look for a nice game of Circvs Imperivm. ("I whip my beasts!")

OD&D(1974).

Gen Con Indy 03

all 5 of my registered sessions cancelled on me. they were a scattering of games/editions.

I had a blast playing Stargate d20 last year. Since I'm always DMing at home, it's my once a year chance to play, so I usually go for as much D&D (with a few other d20 games thrown in) as I can in the orgy of dice rolling madness.

I like new games/demos of games but also games that have faded from the limelight, Earthdawn, TORG, Space 1889. etc.

Game I have started to get into: Pirates of the Spanish Main

Warhammer is another.

I usually end up running at GenCon in order to pay for my ticket, keeps the cost down. When I play I try and play games that I don't get to play often, like Call of Cthuhlu, Paranoia, and D&D (I've only played 4 sessions of D&D so far, and two of them was at a Con, I've GM'ed loads however.) I also tend to play demo games, or the weird original one of a kind games some folks bring, like Pod-racing.

I intend to play in any game I can find that is being run by and for ENWorlders. I'm not sure I'm going to sign up for any of the official games.
