What nostalgic movie would you love to see remade/revisted?

hmmm. maybe digital animation like in finding nemo? that might be watchable.
But seriously. I don't think anime is the right genre for the black caldron. Especially since the trend for anime in the US is that horrible pokemon/kiddie anime. YUCK.

i'd go for traditional animation like in Leelo and Stitch. or something.
what is popular isn't always best for certain books. and an anime style black caldron is one of them. The US film makers would ruin it.

and yes. I'm from texas. so i can safely say that.

Unfortunately I never saw the Black Cauldron Disney cartoon, but I did read the books way back when.

However, I forget if the Chronicles of Prydain were geared towards children or towards young adults. If geared towards children, I think the Black Cauldron done in Pokemon style could be acceptable. When I say Pokemon style, I am speaking in terms of how the art is designed, not in terms of storyline or plot.

On the otherhand, I think Black Cauldron could be well done in anime following the examples of Lodoss War or Berserk. Here is a picture of the style of Berserk:

I was in 5th grade when I first read The Book Of Three, and I read the rest of series throughout 5th and 6th grade, so I guess it is geared for young adults more than kids. I remember my teachers trying to take them away from me because they said it was to mature for me.

anyway, i think it would be better live action, but done Pokemon style; ehh, i would have to unleash the Horned King and then some heads would roll!

Lilo and Stitch style would be good, bnut I think the best style woud be either Samurai jack / Star Wars Clone Wars style or possibly the new He-man.

But yeah, Nemo style might work also.

hell, i'd take Prydain anyway i can get it! (but i'd gripe about pokemon style).

My kid is 3: Optimus goes to transform, and yells out "Transform!" how queer can you get? might as well call them Poke-formers LOL
