What other class features reduce metamagic levels?

I asked this before, once, a year or two ago, but didn't have enough information to make the question clear.

I found three classes that have class features that reduce the level cost to metamagics, are there others?

1) The Incantrix - The Player's Guide to Faruen - Class feature name: Improved Metamagic
2) Dweomerkeeper - Champions of faith - Class feature name: Cloak of Mysteries
3) The Halruann Elder - The Shining South - Class feature name: Adroit Casting

Of course there is the Improved Metamagic feat fromthe EPHB and the DMG, but I was looking for none epic classes that have this feature.

Are there any others that I missed?

Well, since I made it to page two with no replies, I would either assume that is it, or I posted late at night and not everyone got a chance to read it.

So, shamelessly bumping for a second go around.

Are you just looking for classes, and just looking for Wizards material?

I've seen a few variants of the "blood magic" thing, where you pay HP and con points in exchange for bonus levels.

There's also the "magic trick" variant like the Wu Jen, where you have certain uses per day with certain spells with a free metamagic.

Dead Babies

It's not a class feature, but the Slaymate from Libris Mortis allows any creature within 10 feet to prepare metamagic-enhanced necromancy spells as if they took up a spell slot one level less that what the metamagic-enhanced spell would normally require.

BAsically anything that reduces metamagic costs.

I'll kind of sort through it at will.

Could be a feat, or a class feature or whatever.

These were just the ones I found so far.

I saw the Wu Jen thing, but it seemed to work only on not very good metamagic feats, namely, you couldn't choose empower, or maximize or quick and the like :(

So, anyway, I am open to just about anything from any source. :) ;)

Okay, well,

In Bow & Blade by Green Ronin, there's a Blood Magic feat chain. The lower level feat is a generic spell boost in exchange for damage, but later feats let you have metamagic applied to your blooded spells for free. The first such feat lets you apply a +1 or +2 feat for free, the second any metamagic.

Relics & Rituals has a few variants:
  • The Blood Witch PrC can sacrifice blood to pay metamagic cost. At low levels, this must be their own, but eventually they can harvest victims.
  • The Summoner PrC receives free metamagic useful a limited number of times per day only with summong spells.
  • The Ritual rules let you add metamagic to a spell in exchange for time and cost of ritual components.

If third party stuff is ok, SSS had a PrC in it's Player's Guide to Wizards, Sorcerers and Bards book which was essentially a "Sorcerer on Crack". Scion of Mesos (or Hand of Mesos or some such). It gave a metamagic pool equal to the class level that you could burn to reduce metamagic level bumps. I think it also had some sort of improved counterspelling, and even had some way of quickening metamagic spells.

Try Arcane Avatar from Mongoose Publishing (Ultimate Prestige Classes, volume 1). Wizards on Steroids, with Crack, totally drunk. 5 levels

Detect Magic at will, you're detectable. Pick 2 metamagic feats. Cost reduced by 1 for each. You get the ability to swap out 2 spells you know for 1 you don't while preparing spells. Dispel Maigc, Counter at will. Some weird aura ability that sucks because it leaves you vulnerable to counterattack while you're concentrating to do...what exactly?
