I know - weird, huh?

As a DM, when the PCs are very high level and have completed (sometimes multiple) campaigns/storylines, I try to encourage retirement.

But no, not my players - "go until we die!" is their call.

I voted none. All of my campaigns run until most of the core players move away, I move away, or we just pick up another campaign. Seems to be the same in the groups that I play in. We just play until enough people have moved that it warrants a new group of PCs, a new rules edition comes out (hate converting), or we want to try new characters or settings.

I'll mention that I usually play with college students or their spouses, as I am the spouse of a habitual student. It would probably be different if I played with established adults, or were an established adult myself.
