What percentage of your RPG time are you DMing?

I voted 81-99%. That refers to the last year and a half. It would have been 100% but I have managed to have a break for a few sessions and play while another player DM's for a bit. Prior to that I would say that the percentage would have been close to about 5-10%.

Personally I'm not that surprised that the percentages are so high. DM's tend to be the people that are more into the game. That's why they run the games. DM'ing is a lot more work so generally only those people that are really into the gaming will be the DM. Unsurprisingly, people that are more into gaming are also more likely to post on a D&D internet messageboard.

I DM 100% of the time. Although, I did play in a one-shot campaign about five years ago, it didn't really seem enough to warrant dropping into the 81-99% category.

Right now I am only running a game, but one of my players may be starting a game soon. However, if I only have time for one game I prefer to DM.

I GM 100% of the time. I have for the last 25+ years. I guess I should say 99.9% of the time. There is the occaisional odd one-shot or pick up game.

I DM a good portion of the time, but we do take turns playing in each other's campigns. Its nice to be able to switch.

I run the majority of our games - there's only one other in our group with the desire to run anything, but I do most of the DMing, so I voted 81-99%.

I almost rarely play, so I chose 81-99%. I find GMing to be much better outlet for my imagination than playing.
