I'm greedy, so I picked all of the options. I have some pretty crazy character ideas based on the PHB2, even though I doubt I will get to play even a fraction of them.

All the new classes primarily. None of the new races really excite me. Not to say I wouldn't play them or that I'm not interested in seeing their 4e writeup, but it's the new classes and feats that I'm impatient for.

Thus far I have bought the three basic books plus The Vault, but nothing else, and this, plus MMII will probably be my only purchases this year. Bascially this has been because I do not like the fluff books, and Martial power is not enough for me, as I am mroe spell focused, though if Arcane power is amazing, it might get me to buy all three power books

But PHBII will give me a lot of what I want in the game. I have tried a lot of the PHB stuff, so with a lot of new classes, I can be busy for a long time.

Captain America (aKa Avenger)
Invoker
Shaman
Warden
Deva
Goliath
Shifter
and None of them

Why None of them? Because i will never be satisfied until i can build my Thri-Kreen Monk and dine on fine gnomish cousine (where the gnomes ARE the meal!)

I am already playing a bard (though without PHB2 options and bard rituals of course), which works really well. It proves quite a capable controller besides a leader.
Also interested in druid or shaman, though possibly I will initially multiclass in it than take a separate character (I have too many PCs at the mo). I am quite cutious to what the multiclass feats for this classes are.

I'm interested in seeing the Bard, Sorcerer and Druid to evaluate whether I'll allow them as character classes in my campaign.

I don't have any interest in any of the other classes or races at the present time. Many of the classes in particular seem to be of the "power and role fill-in-the-blank" classes which they originally said they weren't intending to do. I guess they succumbed to temptation ;-)

While I know the focus of new feats will be more optimal (if not exclusive) to the new classes and races, I am hoping a few feats are still viable (and interesting) for current PHB1 characters.

But in regards to the classes and races, I can tell I'm in the minority, but I am looking forward to the invoker... running around and blasting things with radiant energy gets me more excited than a person should be :P
The druid and shaman are close seconds after the invoker.

While I'm sure the other classes and races are all interesting and such, the others aren't in "my usual preferred play archtype" so they don't excite me as much.
