No. And there aren't any PHB1 or the FR Player's Guide, and won't be any in the Eberron Player's Guide. And almost certainly won't be any in PHB3, or any other WotC book because Martial Controllers Don't Make Sense.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic here or not, but martial controllers absolutely make sense. Artillery-based martial classes that strike multiple foes, inflict status conditons and high defensive powers are entirely reasonable.

I think the druid will be a good choice for those wanting a melee controller (though not specifically a martial controller).

Frankly the Fighter is pretty much all you could want as a martial controller - my experience has been that the fighters stickiness locks down mobility, dramatically controlling what monsters can actually do.

The fighter is doing more control than the wizard, to be honest.

I think the idea was supposed to be that the wizard would control the field of battle more so then the actions of other characters.

IE the fighter might make it less optimal of a choice for the goblin to go attack someone else... But the wizard could open a pit in front of him making it pretty much impossible.

Not sure if they've achieved that idea.
