What prestige class would you suggest?

Hi Everyone,

I'll make this as short as possible. A PC that I'm creating for a friend's campaign has a general disdain for clerics and clerical methods of healing (eg. spells, divine intervention). Because of his past (which I won't burden you with now), he has opted for a more surgical approach to helping people (eg. Heal skill and Knowledge of Anatomy).

I've seen the Anatomist PrC, but it didn't seem to quite fit the character - it was a little too on the morbid/undead side. We've went over a few ideas such as him being able to use surgical tools to mimick clerical healing spell effects and things like that. The charcater, however, really boils down to a PC who is one that is interested in all forms of life and how they work - humans just happen to be a prime interest.

Could anyone suggest a PrC that has a useful biologist or real-world approach (as opposed to clerical) to healing and knowledge of the internal body? Thanks in advance!

Seems to me there was something in MotW about alchemy and herbal healing salves. I don't have my copy to hand, but there might have been a PrC associated with those skills.

I looked around, but I realy couldn't find anything. I did find an interesting arcane healer prestige class, but that really doesn't help.
