What RPG books are the Gems of your collection?

Gems:

Older D&D:
Deities & Demigods w/Cthulhu
1e DMG
All of the 1E Adventure modules I own (about 40 I'd guess)
All of the Planescape Line
Undermountain box set
Several of the FR box sets (including Kara-tur)
FR and DL Atlases
Kara-Tur Trail Map

3E/D20
World's Largest Dungeon (great product, and my EN World username is in the thank you credits. :) (Simple pleasures, you know...))

I'm sure I'm forgetting some of the gems, but just as twofalls indicated, I like my whole collection.

Has to be my original white-box collection, c. 1974. Still in pretty good condition, managed to erase some of the doodles from the lid.
Sheesh, that dates me....

Gems:

Deities & Demigods w/ Cthulhu
Entire Planescape line, specifically: 'Faces of Evil', 'Faces of Sigil', 'Hellbound'
Every Shadowrun Sourcebook I can lay my hands on
Every Earthdawn Sourcebook I can lay my hands on

Court of Ardor

I am curious about your choice of the Court of Ardor. I had it for a brief time, and what I read confirmed the general consensus that it doesn't really belong in Middle Earth proper. This, in combination with the Rolemaster material you listed just previous, makes me wonder if it is a good Rolemaster module, rather than a good MERP module, and I was just looking at it the wrong way.

I have other stuff that is technically rare, like Dune, some really old MERP stuff, some rare RPGA modules, and probably some stuff I'm forgetting, but that stuff doesn't mean as much to me as the stuff I have listed above, which all has played some important role in my gaming life.

Yeah, likewise.
Dune CotI is not a setting I have found any players for, and it would be a project regardless.

I was going to get a 1E MERP game going, which would have been cool, but my group voted against it. :] , in favor of continuing my 3E FR game. :p

I don't own any true rares...I simply can't justify the expense. When I occasionally get them, I end up selling them because the money worth more (for additional books I will actually use) than the item itself.
My closest would the 1980's megamodules, Dune CotI, high priced Cthulhu stuff (Anniversary, Orient Express, Delta Green, etc), original MERP and the like.

ARIA is interesting, but what it's not an actual RPG (IMO). Its like a partly-finished RPG which you can use to make your own RPG. This, combined with abstract discussions that the books go into, guarantees a pretty limited audience.

The "which RPG books do you regret buying" got me thinking:

Hurrah! A few weeks here and I've not only made a red topic, but it's inspired a spin-off topic. I feel like king of the ENewbs. ;)

Back on topic....I'm quite fond of my DMG, but then there is very little in my collection besides the core-rulebooks.

Delta Green (x2), Delta Green Countdown, Machinations of the Mi-go, The Fate, and Project Rainbow

Runequest 2nd Ed Hardback (Red cover with dust jacket)

Pavis, Big Rubble, Griffin Mountain, Borderlands & Trollpack

Complete Encyclopedia Harnica (x2) and all of the published Harn supplements

LUG Dune

Thieves World box set, companion & modules

Carse, Tulan & Jonril

Lankhmar 1e/2e AD&D (everything except for the 2e boxed set).

1st printing 1e DMG, PHB, MM, FF & DD.

The Chronicles of Talislanta, The Talislantan Handbook, A Naturalist’s Guide to Talislanta, Talislanta Sorcerer’s Guide, The Cyclopedia Talislanta

Empire of the Petal Throne (1975), Empire of the Petal Throne: the World of Tekumel RPG Book (1987)

A stack of misc. MERP

Gems to me are split into two groups - stuff I got the most use out of and stuff that means something special to me. So...

Stuff I Got The Most Use Out Of
My DS collection
My Mage collection (Is it purple? I'll take it!)
AEG's Toolbox
Desert of Desolation Trilogy
Castle Amber
Campaign Sourcebook & Catacomb Guide
Arcana Unearthed/Evolved
1e DMG
Ruins of Undermountain

Stuff That Means Something Special To Me
My white box, including an unopened blister-pack of dice
1e books, especially DMG, PHB, original D&DG, FF
My Torg collection
DM's Adventure Log (game notes from waaay back)
My "Castle" game that I wrote myself back when I first heard of D&D but had never actually seen it. 2d6, no stats and years of pleasure.
