I voted "yes" for Saving Throws, but I really think Saving Throws should be rolled up into Defenses.

Cheers, -- N
Same here. Static 'saves,' random roll to overcome them. Just like AC & attack rolls.

I also voted "yes" for Saving Throws, but I'd roll Saving Throws into Defences for NPCs and monsters. It's basically a "players roll the dice" idea: PCs overcome the Defences of their opponents, and make Saving Throws against their attacks.

ALL OF THE ABOVE... or else you aren't playing D&D.
It gets rather silly when taken to extremes, you know. ;) I wonder if anyone else had the experience of staying up till 2am just re-rolling the stats for the BBEG because the dice refused to generate something close enough to the idea of what he should be... :heh:

And they say DM prep time in 3e is bad... :p

6 below 30%, 5 above 80% (or 90% except for some confusion about saves)... It should be really easy to please the median voter :D
