OK, I'm gonna go to the comic shop a bit later and invest in some "research materials", seeing as Chris V. and I are working on a commercial venture and I'm not a huge comic reader, I need to see what the competition is and get back into it.
I'm writing a near-future, cyberpunkish team book; it's about a group of superheroes relegated to the backburner, who are the saviors of a city endangered by a corrupt Silver Age team and a maniacal villain.
What should I read? I've been away from comics for a while; Chris says I should read X-Statix, but beyond that I've got no clue.
