What shows are your "must sees"?

Junkyard Wars
American Chopper
Code Name: Kids Next Door
Samurai Jack
Duck Dodgers
MST 3000

Can't think of any others I always try to catch or tape.

edit: My wife just reminded me I usually watch West Wing with her if it's on (not to be a must see show, just to spend time with her :) ), and the rest of the time I pretty much have CNN, Cartoon Network, or the Weather Channel on in the background.

We don't have quite the selection the Americans have.

But for what's currently playing:

SG-1
West Wing

... that's about it. We're on reruns of CSI at the moment, which I'll watch and enjoy, but I've seen most of them before. When they're playing new episodes, CSI makes my "religious" list.

And Ed was on my list as well... they were playing it at about 10:30pm Wednesdays, and then suddenly switched to 3pm weekdays and finished off the season in one week with no warning!

I only found out about it when I commented that this was the second Wednesday in a row with no Ed (there was a cricket game or something in the timeslot), and a friend who'd been off work told me "Oh, that was playing in the afternoons last week. Every day, I think."

Alias is the only thing I would recommend to anyone right now.

tv sucks these days. I still watch The West Wing and ER because I remember when they were good.

CSI, Globe Trekker and Inside the Actors' Studio are good, but they don't have that addictive quality that makes me schedule things around them every week. half the time, I don't even remember when they're on.

it's been said before, but I'll say it again: the mid-to-late '90s were something of a Golden Age for television. Buffy, the X-Files, ER, Homicide: Life on the Street, Babylon 5, Friends, Mad About You, NYPD Blue, Seinfeld, Law & Order, Lois & Clark. I can't remember the last time I watched a sit-com and enjoyed it. heck, even the Star Trek spin-offs were better than I gave them credit for at the time.

Me and my gf never miss CSI. It's like our sacred moment. Couldn't care less for CSI: Miami though. That Horatio Caine fellow gets on my nerves. Is he constipated or what? He hasn't got anything on the trusty old Gil Grissom.

I love CSI, but do not like CSI: Miami for the same reasons.. :) .

We do not have cable so all we can get in is ABC, NBC and CBS... well, and the local PBS stations..

I also like:
Joan of Archadia
With out a Trace
Two and a half Men
Dr. Phil (a bit embarrased about that one)
Big Brother

My cant miss show:
Survivor. I adore it. I will be crushed when it stops airing. I never miss a thursday. In fact when Survivor is in the off season, I really dont watch much tv at all... thats when I catch up on my reading..

Simpsons
Smallville
Star Trek: Enterprise
Time Squad (tough to find)

I have four must watch shows and two are on against each other. Luckily Enterprise is repeated on the local station later in the week.

I'll add SG-1 to the list if I can catch up via the DVDs before the show is off the air.
