• NOW LIVE! Into the Woods--new character species, eerie monsters, and haunting villains to populate the woodlands of your D&D games.

What shows are your "must sees"?

If it's worth watching, it's worth watching all of. That's my philosophy.

So right now, my timetable (New Zealand television) reads:
Alias
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the new one, darker and bushido-er)
Stargate SG-1
Samurai Jack
Digimon (the superlative Season 3 has made me a fan for life, even if someday they do a season revolving entirely around talking piles of manure)
Dinotopia (why do I think of Babylon 5 every time I watch this? In a 'B5 would have had consequences for this bit' way, of course)
Invader Zim (seen it all - almost - from the Net, but TV quality is better).

If they ever come back on:
Angel
Smallville
Enterprise
Farscape (not likely, they repeated Season 1 once and then dropped it - I hate them so much, whoever they are).

EDIT: Forgot some other things.

Zoids: Chaotic Century (hasn't finished here yet, I'm waiting for new episodes to come on)
Transformers: Armada (not sterling quality, but it grows on you once you realise it's a war story, not Pokemon With Cars)
Yugi-Oh (tactics! A show where followers can actually figure out what's going to happen - gray matter stimulation is good)

I'm a wee bit of a TV junkie.

My mainstays are:
Survivor
Smallville
Angel
8 Simple Rules
Everwood
Joan of Arcadia - Probably my favorite if you're gonna make me pick

My Engineering fix - pretty much a mainstay, but an entire catagory
Monster Garage
Monster House
Mythbusters - That's what I want to do when I grow up :P
Junkyard Wars
Good Eats - It's a cooking show done like it's a chemistry class - very cool

My "will watch if it's on" list:
Futurama
Simpsons
SG - 1
Star Trek - Any of them
Trading Spaces - Amy Win, need I say more?
Pretty much anything on the the History Channel

That's about it,
Erge

When's that on, s/LaSH?

Fridays, 1630, TV3 (not this week because of tennis or golf or something I emphatically don't follow). It's been going a few months now, so if you only go in now you may need a catch-up. Email me sometime.

Oh. Work hours :)

Being a low-paid yet international freelance artist hath its privileges. Also, knowing how to program a VCR and buying 4 videos to tape stuff on (over and over - hasn't hurt yet) helps. You think I watch half the stuff on my list live?

Hey, didn't realise you were a Kiwi, Slash.

My location field is a little odd, I'll grant it. I'm in Wellington, for clarity's sake.

Smallville

Ugh...people actually watch Tru Calling? The only thing that would get me to watch that show again is Eliza....naked......

Ah well...too each their own.

I have only a few...

Smallville
Alias
24

I like Law & Order (all its incarnations)
Line of Fire
Joe Schmo Show
SG-1
CSI

But I do not "have" to watch them every week.

So...what are your must sees?

edit-changed a phrase and added CSI

HMM. My only must sees are all either canceled or on Hiatus

They were

Crossing Jordan
Boomtown
and for a while Dragnet

My current "watch" program is nothing other than an occasional episode of Tru Calling (mmm Eliza Dushku) and occasionally stuff on Food Network or one of the science channels
