What shows do you watch after 10 pm (central, 11pm eastern)?

I personally watch the Daily Show, then hop over to Adult Swim on Cartoon Network for a few hours. My friend Hamid works for Cartoon Network and writes some of the cards that they show when they go to commercial; he also does some of the actual advertisements for shows.

On his behalf, and on behalf of myself so that I don't have to hear him complaining about low ratings, could you please watch Adult Swim? Particularly the anime? It's good stuff, if you watch for a few episodes to get into the groove. I mean, what else are you gonna watch at Midnight?

This, of course, applies mostly to U.S. folks. Not sure how easy it is to watch Cartoon Network in Australia where Hong is.

I watch Adult Swim, along with MXC, Tripping the Rift, and various other shows that are on after prime time.

I like Adult Swim, however, not so much the anime. Sorry Hamid, though I do enjoy the cards between shows, keep up the good work.

Daily Show, absolutely. I watch AS on Sunday nights, but have no interest in anime (having tried many times to dig it). Too old, or something.

Heh, sounds almost exactly like my own late night schedule :p Though I sometimes also switch over to Food network for Iron Chef and (don't laugh) Good Eats, very entertaining shows those two.

And you can tell your friend at Cartoon Network that they are doing a great job over there. I have been a big fan of the Adult Swim block since it started and the Toonami block since nearly the beginning back in, what? '94? I have always felt that the guys in charge of that programming over there really listen to the fans and, more importantly, are fans themselves and that has always made all the difference for me. As opposed to say, the jerks at Sci-Fi (*sob* Farscape *sob*). Good job.

EDIT: although I do gotta say, what is up with the advertising sometimes? It is wierd sometimes to be watching a show like Wolf's Rain and have a comercial for Poly Pocket come on. I bet they could make more money if they sold the targeted audience advertising aspect of adult swim.

Though what do I know? It is probably a contractual thing with Turner or something.

I either watch Nick at Nite or do something completely unrelated to TV. Usually the latter. The fact is, I probably watch 2 hours of TV a week. It might be turned on as background noise for another 3 or 4 hours, though.

What on Adult Swim is worth watching? I used to watch Aqua Teen Hunger Force once in a while, but lost interest. Is there anything else decent on there?

Yeah, I'll usually catch Daily Show when I'm in the mood for watching TV. Also, don't knock Good Eats, that show rocks. After that, I'll usually make an attempt to catch Conan O'Brien, but usually I end up missing it... not a big TV watcher overall.

I'll chime in as a third about Good Eats. Mixing in the history with the goofy stories makes it a unique show.

I also sometimes watch the Daily Show, but it conflicts with Iron Chef, network news and various others things depending on what day or what I'm in the mood for.

What on Adult Swim is worth watching? That is really subjective. I love Aque Teen Hunger Force, but that is the only show on weeknights, Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law and Sealab 2021 are only Sunday. Futurama and Family Guy I sometimes, watch, depends on if I immediately remember the episode or not, (flipping when I've seen it too many times).

Adult Swim (usually only the comedy shows as I own both Cowboy Bebop and Trigun on DVD), South Park, Chapelle's Show, and occasionally Daily Show.

On Adult Swim, I always try to catch Aqua Teen Hunger Force, but that doesn't always work out.

Adult Swim for me, too, more specifically Futurama/Family Guy/Aqua Teen. Sometimes, during Futurama/Family Guy, I flip back and forth between that and Howard Stern. If Stern that night is a good one, that is. Otherwise, not much... I actually watch pretty much CNN/MSNBC/Fox News (dunno why, all it does is depress me), and once in a while something on the History Channel. Sometimes Chapelle when I catch it.
