What source book is a "rook" in?
I have the monster manual but none of the others.
I'm running a adventure soon and I want to make sure I run these monsters right.

Any help?

I can't be the only one to think that a line of chess-based monsters would be hell of sweet, right?

GIMMIE GIANT MOVING STATUES OF DOOM! :]

I was going to say to just use the raven statistics, since they're similar to both crows and rooks, but apparently in D&D, they're not an animal, but a monster...

or maybe a chess piece (tee hee).

Is there a D20 conversion for it?

Gilgamesh, what adventure are you running? Where are you seeing this? There's no source listed?

Whizbang, you are right. Aerie of the Crow God.

They don't give a very big distinction (I've only been paging thru it to get a feel on how the adventure moves) between a rook and a harpy. And I was hoping for a better critter background and maybe a better picture.
