I'm suprised--I thought the results would be more balanced.

I'm kind of a powergamer when I'm creating a character, in that I like to
look for interesting rule combinations that give my PC at least one very
effective tactic. But I also like my characters to have at least one weakness
that I don't try very hard to overcome as they develop.

Once I've written up a history and start playing, I'm method actor
all the way.

A little from column a, little from column b, etc.

I see myself primarily as a Roleplayer. I create a character to play a role, fulfill a componnet of the group, and progress the story.

So Method Actor+Storyteller.

I do play the character with all there motivations. However as in real life (TM) they will comprise on some ideals. Some they won't.

I am also a bit of a Tactician, but that comes of being militarily minded and strategicly cunning. I also have a tendency to gravitate towards skill heavy and socially adept characters, so a little Specialist for flavor.

but I defy stereotyping you meanie--EvilE

Voted haven't played enough RPGs to determine otherwise. Usually I like a balance of combat and roleplaying, leaning more towards roleplaying

Tactician first and formost. A touch of demented method acting.

I got no problems with fellow party members tossing themselves into the jaws of death, it is just one more variable to account for when accessing situations, less likely than them being gutted by a lucky hit, but never impossible with Barbarians and Paladins.

Only thing I dislike is when characters get saved by the DM. If a PC bites off more than they can chew, thems are the breaks.

In the words of Queen, 'I Want It All'.

So I voted for defy classification. I would even struggle to even put them in order, although Butt-kicker, Method Actor and Specialist (wizards) are all close to the top.

glass.

Mostly Tactican, but also Butt Kicker and a little bit of Method Actor. Mostly I think my catchphrase, RPG-wise, could well be "I love it when a plan comes together!"

Up until a week ago, I don't think I would have known how to answer this poll. But I had a solo session with my character last weekend. A lot of the session was the DM describing to me what was happening around me, and giving my character situations to react to. It was a great narrative. Some players might have considered it railroading, but I didn't mind at all, because the ride was great.

In fact in the course of the session, something happened to my PC that is likely not supported by any rules printed anywhere, but it fit the story perfectly, so the hell with the rules.
