What videogames are you playing in 2025?

I've been slowly but steadily wrapping up my Baldur's Gate 3 playthrough. Down to just two last sidequests (Astarion's and Lae'zel's) before taking on Lucius Malfoy and then the endgame. I think I'm up to 130 hours in it?

I've also been slowly but steadily wrapping up my perfect Stardew Valley game; just trying to find things to keep me occupied as I work my way towards the $10 mil I need to finally hit 100%. Managed to beat Jumino Cart; the twin-stick shooter is giving me a bit more problems though (it's a bit less of my genre). In the mean time I'm pulled down around $1.6 mil a season so I should only have a year left to work through. Taking a break from it right now though.

The reason I took a break though is to play Final Fantasy II Pixel Remaster in a weird way, specifically for the Four Job Fiesta event: Final Fantasy 2 with Jobs!. I'm a bit bummed though since I got all three Heavy Armor jobs, and FFII is a game where Light Armor is almost always the better option because Dodge Chance is king. Luckily they also get to use Shields so maybe it'll balance. Hopefully...

I'll also occasionally play some Phasmophobia with my wife and daughter, which is always a lot of fun.

Two games I'm waiting on for my Switch are Civilization VII and the Suikoden I + II HD Remaster. Civ is already out but I'm going to wait until I know it actually runs properly on the hardware and probably a lot longer so I can pick up a bunch of the eventual addons in a bundle down the road. Suikoden's only a week away though. And the Lunar Remastered Collection is coming in April, so I'll be eating good on classic PS1 JRPGs for a while.

I put 30+ hours into CIV VII and stopped. Not a fan of it, and was quite disappointed. I enjoyed CIV VI much better. So I went back old school and am playing Dawn of War until Solasta II comes out

I'll be playing Solasta 2 (or at least the alpha and beta) and whatever that pathfinder game was called that KS last year. But I'm not really a video game person.

I was spending so many hours between Helldivers 2 and Gloomwood that I gave myself serious carpel tunnel in my shoulders so I haven’t been able to play anything for at least a month.

AOW4, Fallout 4, Oxygen Not Included and Transport Fever 2. I played 7DTD for a while, but the changes over the past year, just kill the game for me.

I plan on playing Solasta II when released.

Currently replaying Vampyr. One of my favorite games to come from a smaller studio in recent years.

Once i can get my hands on it though, i will be consumed by Monster Hunter Wilds, lol

It's been ages since I played something actually new. Months since I even switched on my PS5. The last new AAA game I bought was Spider-man 2, there just haven't been any recent releases that have caught my eye.

Most recently I've been playing through both XCOM and XCOM 2 for the nth time, those games never seem to get old for me.

Waiting on my wife to level her goblin back up to the level cap so we can finally, after years of wanting more goblin content in World of Warcraft, play the new goblin-centered patch, featuring the goblin capital city, street racing, gangs, a big tacky casino and all the hazardous waste you can eat.
