I agree completely. There's no such thing as "wasted" entertainment. If you enjoyed it, it served its purpose.

Sorry, but for certain things, I'm a "destination is as important as the journey" kind of guy. And, indeed, you just stated one giant if... If it feels that they're going nowhere and not answering anything, then the episodes do indeed suck, and are indeed a waste of time.

I find it amazing that someone can be "bewildered" by such a concept (even if it isn't their cup of tea). Huh. Guess there isn't much else to say.
