Weapon Insanity
In my current Ravenloft Game, which uses a hybrid of Arcana Evolved and D&D 3.5 rules, we have a great deal of variation in weapon styles.
My character, Sir Mayhew Engels is a Warmain 8/ Psychic Warrior 1/ Holy Liberator 6, and all-around Communist Revolutionary, wielding a Monkey-gripped Scythe in one hand and a Warhammer in the other. He also carries a Mighty( +3) composite longbow, a masterwork longsword (symbol of the Ezran Faith), and conceals a sickle on his person.
The party's secondary fighter, Marriette D'Fanchon is a Wilder 14 / Psychic Warrior 1 wielding a Guisarme when she's not using Energy Ray and Ego Whip.
The party's arcane spellcaster, Minzeelia Raskolka, is a Half-Vistani Giogoto 3 / Blood Witch 12, who wields her summoned witchblade in battle, which takes the form of a wounding Greatsword made of her own blood and sinew.
The party's archer and crafter, is a mix of Ranger and Hexsmith (variant of Rokugan Master Smith), wielding a high-tension metal composite longbow, and a Legendary-quality bastardsword called Child-killer which he seldom uses in combat. He's looking to Re-forge the weapon anew in such a way as to remove the stain of blood put their by the former Duke Gundar.
Lastly, the party's Cleric never used a weapon, and recently has undergone some changes that may have removed her ability to cast spells...only she and her husband, the DM, know exactly what has happened in or out of game.
Earlier in the campaign, we also had a Bard/Assassin who specialized in poison daggers, a Ranger/Noble who used a shortbow and light flails (not to mention her Cat companion), and a Sorceror/Barbarian/Rage Mage who used a longsword.
All in all, I've still got the most insane weapon choice. Thank you Ambidexterity, (Improved) Two Weapon Fighting, Monkey Grip, and Massive Two-Weapon Fighting.
