What Would Far Realm Creatures Do With 31 Dead Goblins?

The bodies are still dead, but if they listen, they can hear them talking. However, the dead goblins are talking backwards. If the PCs disturb the bodies, or if they wait too long, the bodies stand up and begin rehearsing the battle, but in reverse, before being sucked into a giant blob of quivering, mutating flesh. The mass becomes a gibbering mouther.

If you want simple, just sit all the goblins up facing the door the PCs will enter and put a smile on their faces. That should properly creep them out.

I know my players wouldn't go into that room without fireballing it first.

The goblins have grown bizarre appendages, some have spider legs, some have putrid bat wings, some have masses of tentacles growing out in a chaotic mess. Some have eyestalks others new mouths and or ears.

If there are any 'parts' those have done the same.

Think 'The Thing'.

They are all still dead.

All the heads have been swapped around. One of the heads has been replaced with the head of a human you've never seen before. That goblin's original head is missing.

Ooh, here is a nasty idea. Most of the goblins have been brought back to life, using some weird pseudo-science (hah!) that recycled parts from the ones who weren't revived. There are now fifteen or so living goblins hanging from the walls/trees/wherever, sealed in some type of fleshy cocoon.

About 18 hours after this happened, "baby goblins" will dig their way out of the hanging but still living bodies a la digger wasps. They will grow quickly as they consume their hosts. These new goblins are changelings, and they will infiltrate other goblin tribes to convert them to worship of the Far Realm in service to a grander scheme.

You can change when the "breakout" happens based on what you want the PCs to find. The new goblins should have appropriate powers, but should look like normal goblins.

The goblins remain just as they left them, except all of their bones are gone, removed through no obvious means.

The corpses have been stretched and elongated, twisted into various spiral/helix patterns, some using multiple goblins.

the goblins bloated corpses have been strapped into mechanical walker platforms powered by the gas released from the body. (see Gyo by Junji Ito)

They're all inside out.

The bodies caper and dance in strange terrible movements twisting in ways the living cannot, they will avoid the PC's but otherwise do not seem to notice them.

Liquefied.

All colour has been drained from the corpses, their possessions, and the surrounding area.

I really, really like this one. My initial thought was something along the line of the dolgrim zombies as well, but this one takes the cake for me.

The 31 corpses are now decorating the ends of thirty one segmented insectoid limbs that have risen from the ground to pierce through their bodies like an H.R. Giger painting of Vlad the Impaler's favorite pastime.

The black oily chitinous skewers are cruely barbed and have raised the goblin corpses three feet off the ground, leaving their vacant stares right about face level for a standard party. The bodies appear dessicated, as if the strange skewers have drained the goblin's corpses of blood and other fluids.

One would expect to see many flies and similar creatures feeding off of the dead goblins, but the goblin's wounds are infested with a strange growth of waving yellowish worm-like tendrils, lashing out like anemones to pluck flies from the air and pull them in to be devoured by the slender creatures strands.

If any larger prey enters this grotesque forest, the insectoid skewers turn and bend, causing the goblin corpses to close in around them. The goblins dead arms suddenly surge with life, and they attempt to grapple the intruder to their grove, holding them in place, while another black skewer thrusts up from the earth below them, seeking a stab it's way into their leg so that it can rise up through their struggling body...

They're all gone.

If someone has a method for tracking or scrying for them, they're all wrapped in spider silk and hanging from a cliff ledge somewhere nearby...
