What would you do if you were an evil, cannibalistic, cthulhu worshippping Hobbit?

I'll post stats here tonight I hope, tomorrow at the latest. We're actually playing tomorrow *fingers crossed* they may not learn the truth about Drogo right away, they might go to fight Goblins first.

If I were an evil, cannibalistic, cthulhu worshipping Hobbit, I'd eat my neighbor, sell his stuff to raise funds for my own cthulhu-temple in my hobbit hole (with sacrificial altar and the whole set of sacrificial knives - the ones that don't rust.) and use his skin to make another copy of the Necronomicon (which I call "the Blood Red Book of the Westmarch" or "In and out again - the way of a hobbits flesh through my body" :D

*groans* Bad bad bad! Though Drogo does have quite the collection of books. :D I'm thinking rogue levels with a few spells from CoC. Maybe a template.

Neko, I took a look at the PrC and it's a little too high level. The PCs are 3rd level right now - I'm thinking 4th for the Hobbits and I'll toss another level on them if the party fights the Goblins first.

Just a note - Seri threatens to make me sleep on the couch every time I pull out my Chaosium CoC hardcover :D I'm gonna be so dead for this

You should be very evil to the party Mage/sorcerer/bard. if they start thinking too much about what is happening threaten them with thier next level being Alienist. :D

We'll see who ends up with the ring, and who ends up going through all of Drogo's books :D

(singing) "We boggies are a happy folk
We like to eat until we choke
Treating all like friend and brother
And hardly ever eat each other
Gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble!"

wow...

Never once thought of the Red Book of Westmarch as a Mythos tome...
(looks to bookcase at the very same edition)
...and I did always wonder how hobbits could maintain 6-7 meals a day.

Why not? They think there isn't anything beyond their world, and all's well. And then there's that book that tells of a much larger reality, a darker one, with creatures you wouldn't imagine, with dire perils and with shadows that walk. And dark gods.

Edit: TDC talking :) Seri's computer is a handier than mine ;). We're playing right now. So far, Rosie is under suspision - they think she's a Were creature preying on villagers.
