What would you do with a Rouge Toad?

It's duration: permanent, so yeah, have the cleric dispel it.

Or leave him as a toad. Toads have great bonuses to hide and move silently. They're hard to hit due to their size, they get what, a +2 or +4 to hit because of their size? And nobody will expect the toad to do 4d6 sneak attack damage.

Wow, I bet our party rogue would KILL to be a toad.

What other options are afforded to the characters listed above. Is there a spell that we are missing that could turn this around?

Can you cast Enlarge Person on a polymorphed rogue? At least you'd get a size Small instead of size Tiny

The other option is to throw him into every monster's mouth, then have him sneak attack his way out. Nobody expects the spanish inquisition!

But I think you all misunderstand him. It seems to me that he uses this term for a red slaad, as they look toadlike and are red.

If so, feel free to drop by the Awakened Animal thread, where we've had a lively discussion about the possibility of negative Level Adjustments.

I've been using the Awakened Toad as my prime example of a monster race that's definitely nowhere *near* being balanced with, say, your average human.

5' Speed, no natural attacks, 0' Reach, Str 1, and no hands... your party rogue would have to be a bloody idiot to kill for a package like that!

It's really fun to have a high level druid be someone's familiar. I am not sure that works too well with rogues though.
