What would you do with a Rouge Toad?

Too late for rouge puns? But I wanted to say it would be so easy to get the curse-solving princess kiss, since if you tell her it's a rouge, she would apply it herself to her cheeks and lips.

Oh well. While the toad form is useful to recon and espionnage (unlikely you'll get noticed or paid attention to); the party is strongly advised to seek a cure (dispel magic, remove curse, whatever) for their rogue batracian.

The dispel won't work since the magic is permanent and isn't dispelable.

Unless the DM is using some strange variant of baleful polymorph, it is so dispellable. Spells with a duration of "permanent" can be dispelled after they are cast. Spells with a duration of "Instaneous", like wall of stone, can't. Once a spell with an instant duration has happened, there's no more magic around to be dispelled, just the aftereffects of it. A spell with a permanent duration is definitely still around to be dispelled.

Man, I just re-read this thread... I hope Gruck doesn't feel like anybody's coming down on him too harshly about the spelling thing! I'm fairly sure the replies were meant in the name of good humour. :)

Of course not. I always intend to do the utmost harm with every of my statements. ;-) (Oh, I remember one of my typo's. I wanted to write "a limb" and wrote it with the hard p. How ironic)

But as for baleful polymorph: It's a 3.5 thing. Just as my characters have a golfbag with weapons, I always make sure that I have a captive princess in my backpack. :D
