I've just realised how lucky I am with Leisure Games and Playin Games in London (England) - good service, particularly at Leisure Games.

Hell yeah :D

More sexy goth chics.

Well, I voted for more non-Wizards stuff. My FLGS doesn't have a great selection of d20. They have all the WoTC books of course, beyond that, it's kind of hit or miss. They have Malhavoc, and Necromancer, and a few other things, but not a lot to choose from most of the time.

Hot, Sexy Imports!

Girls and Games :p

I'd like to see more translations of Japanese, French, German and British gaming material (well the British books wouldn't need translations so much but...).

I collect alot of Japanese RPG stuff and some of it would really shake things up on this side of the ocean, especially in the areas of illustration, art direction and presentation. The games themselves range from mediocre mechanics but great world ideas, to rules concepts that are truly innovative and exciting. Germany and France also produce some really amazing stuff. In the ever-shrinking world created by the internet I think creating a global gaming community would go a long way toward improving and expanding the hobby.

Generally I like to see more then "yet-another-D20-OGL-game-supplement-sourcebook".

NewLifeForm

Better distribution systems.

I want to be able to peruse before I purchase... I'm not keen on ordering blindly (which pretty much guarantees that I'll never give 3rd parties I've never tried a chance).

The thing I really would like to see at my two local game stores is them to start carring RPG's. Both carry the same stuff, CCG's, Warhammer, and DnD minis, and both have a LAN setup for computer gaming. but they don't sell any RPG's.

Okay so what we have so far is a store with extremely well trained, helpful, nice and socially proficient, hot well endowed, red headed saleswomen with guns, who serve you cold beer while they shower, and truly care about you the customer, in a well lit environment and, oh yeah, have a wide selection of roleplaying game materials.

Roleplayers.

Mine is dominated by Clix, Warhammer, and CCG fans.
Likewise. I can sympathise. :(

Mind you, I probably know enough RPers already. But still.

edit --- oh, and re: chicks. There're two working at the FLGS who are pretty. :) Not that it's relevant atm, to me that is. But yeh, they look nice.

and -- re: cleanliness. Er, I really don't want to go to those areas where people have listed things like basic hygiene as a missing requirement. :uhoh:

hm, the rest - beer? Nope. Nice, friendly, knowledgeable employees? ... Not exactly. Guess I'm shoot outta luck just as much as the next person here.
