Did anyone ever get the license? Is still unkown? Just wondering?

Thanks

Stargate the RPG is still Dead. Sony and AEG could not agree on terms and Eden did not get it either (AFAIK). I hope that it goes back to AEG. Spycraft 2.0 is so great at this kind of conversion now....

I like Eden's games (buffy & angel) but they make the others companies look speedy!

The reason that I've heard for the huge delay in their books (at least so far as the licensed games are concerned) is because Fox takes forever to approve them. Eden is forced to sit on a book for months, sometimes years, before they get the green light to produce it.

Crothian that made chortle and even snort (a little)! :D

Yeah, I remember buying a bundle (it was all the Warmachine minis out at that time & the Monsternomicon) at the last GenCon in Milwaukee, I was supposed to get the Warmachine book when it was completed. IRC I got the book a week before the next GenCon.

Well, I guess I'll pick-up the one book I'm missing from AEG Stargate... I wonder if any of the freelance guys had finished or nearly finished books that they didn't turn in? Must search web...

Not to mention that Eden is a very small company, and if they have money tied up in the development and production of one book that gets held up in the approvals process they can't just switch gears to another line at the drop of a hat -- thus, external (i.e. licensor) delays cascade through the entire Eden catalogue.

Also, they have a smallish stable of very fine writers rather than an army of staffers and freelancers, which limits their output somewhat.
