You made the horrible mistake of pointing out the obvious truth that the opinions on a site like this aren't representative of the gaming community as a whole.

You're wounding their sense of self importance

My point was that you should not tell someone in advance you think their opinion is inaccurate (which itself is an odd statement - an opinion is neither accurate nor inaccurate), and then go ahead and ask their opinion.

Okay, this thread is obviously done. I didn't mean to offend anyone, but I can see the writing on the wall. I wish for nothing but the best for ALL role players out there, even the ones I disagree with. I guess I'll go back to my own meanderings and leave the mainstream to the mainstream. Thanks again to all of you who gave my post a serious consideration.

Easy. In your starting post you managed to insult Pathfinder, 3e, 4e, and the people who post here. You also announced you like edition wars and tied together 4e and computer games. You managed to fit just about everything that pisses people off into one post.
