Is this because I enjoy an old TCG that no-one else plays, but it is still fun because it is storytelling not combat, or is it because you know what the Brown Jenkin is?
Looking at this thread makes me want to play all the old games I've got sitting on my bookshelves.
Advanced Civilization (played it about 5 months ago and had my single worse game ever - dead last without a hope to recover for most of the last half of the game)
Traveller (circa 1980)
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (only had one edition because that's all it needed! )
Call of Cthulhu (3rd, 4th or 5th edition - I got 'em all )
Battletech (been itching to lose at this game for a while now )
Basic D&D
Those are the ones I'd love to sink my teeth into right now (along with Dragonstar and Revised Star Wars d20 but I don't have them yet).
There is hope though! One of my players has d20 Star Wars and I might be able to get him to run an adventure soon.
Right now I'm not playing anything at all -- I'll be moving to Stockholm within a week. Once there, I'll get my Scarred Lands campaign rolling from scratch with a fresh batch of unsuspecting victims.
Besides D&D, I'm a loony Shadowrun fanboy.
I hope I'll get an opportunity to try Feng Shui soon, too.
