Well I have it from a reliable source that MM2 will have some monsters that are BASED on the ones in the Scarred Lands...Also I heard other d20 companies got chosen as well. What actually goes in...Hard to say. BUT remember folks that MM2 and Tome of Horrors WON'T over lap...so maybe some of Scott Conversions got in...

You are correct Nighttfall- the Tome of Horrors and MM2 won't overlap at all. Anything in our book is not in MM2 and anything in MM2 is not in our book. Clark worked very closely with WotC (who have been very cool letting us do what we are doing) and made absolutely sure the books can happily co-exist.

Here is a snippet from Clark on another thread about the BoVD:

"Scott and I are under NDAs for both the MM2 and the BoVD. We cant mention the contents. But I can say that I am aware of the contents and there will be no (well, almost no) duplication in Tome of Horrors (we are doing 2 or 3 that they are doing by special arrangement). And yes, ToH will include Demon Princes and Arch Devils from the original 1E MM, the Fiend Folio and the original MM2. I just cant say which ones. It was important to us (and to WotC) that there not be overlap and there wont be. "

How does Wotc have the right to take information owned by other companies and publish it as there's?
