What's new this fall in sci-fi/fantasy style programing?

Maybe someone will pick up Miracles that was cancelled by ABC after they disingeniously shot it in the foot. That show roxxors by boxxors and knocks of my soxxors! Errr, well, it did, anyway...

Other than that, Alias, I guess. Pretty bleak TV season, all things considered. I guess I'll pick up an xbox this fall and play Knights of the Old Republic a lot instead.

There are 6 seasons? I am now guessing that the offical website is not the most up to date one out there. So what Cable Channel are they on? I don't have cable right now, but plan to be getting soon and if I can watch new episodes of SG-1 that will make it all the better.

Well they just started the 7th season a few weeks ago on SciFi. The website that had seasons 1-5 listed probably is the on run by Showtime/MGM and covers what they were directly involved in. Stuff can be now found at: http://www.scifi.com/stargate/


Season 6,7 and 8 (when it happens) were/will be on the SciFi channel.

~Mini Rant~
Why oh why do people have to watch reality TV shows Please don't say they are entertaining. Entertaining shows were Farscape, Firefly and even John Doe

I can only speculate...

1. It's unscripted. The story or event or little drama or episode unfolds before your eyes, whether the participant is being genuine or just playing it up to the cameras. In a way, it can look like LARP.

2. It's a spectator sport. To see something dramatic as an argument between two or more people about the silliest of things, it attracted people like a horrible traffic accident. I mean, let's face it, people. Jerry Springer shows are to blame for this kind of audience taste.

3. No black and white, only grays. No heroes, no villains, everyone can root for any of the participants.

4. It's invasive. This is ultimate peeping tom fantasy. To see how other people, live, use the bathroom, take showers, perform their personal hygiene routine. Of course, you have to pay for those uncensored portion.
