What's next after Zombies?

Given the fact that the wider population isn't aware of game mechanics I don't see the Mythos becoming a big craze like Zombies unless there's a tv show and or series or films that also comes out and becomes popular. It may become a craze in the gaming world, but that's about it.

Yes, it's mostly confined to the (miniature wargaming) world.

I think we are about due for another ninja craze

Maybe we've already had one, and it snuck by us.

I wish we would see more "optimistic" space and future movies. Ghost In The Shell kind of fits this description: the World is kind of screwed up but still entirely salvageable. We need a good slate of movies that are not about not crappy things are going to get per se but how they could survive or be turned around.
