What's O.L.D. is N.E.W. Starter Kit Is Coming!

What's O.L.D. is N.E.W., the trilogy of compatible but standalone roleplaying games covering science fiction, explosive contemporary action, and medieval fantasy, is about to get its first official release. After nearly two years of solid playtesting, and a year since the Kickstarter which funded it, the 42-page Starter Kit will be going out to Kickstarter backers in electronic format very soon, and will be available to everybody as a gorgeous full-colour book shortly afterwards.

Will there be (or is there) an intro downloadable? That is, something that sketches out the rules and general vibe of the game? I read about it when you KS'd it, but given playtesting and time I'm sure it's changed at least some. I'd be interested in an introductory packet, shorter than the one presented above.

Shorter than the short starter set? I'm afraid this is it - sorry! If it helps, a quarter of it is pregenerated characters, a quarter is a very basic expression of the rules, a quarter is a simple introductory adventure, and a quarter is a very short bestiary. I think the rules are distilled down to their most basic expression, though!

I am liking some of the mechanics of the game and the fact you can make a modern, future or fantasy game and have all of it work together. Have been watching this from the start and as it stand will be adding this to my game library, maybe pushing D&D 5th to the side for a bit.

Thanks, Morrus - that helps. Will it be available as a download for non-backers?
