What's On Your Comic Pull-List?

I'm so out of the comic loop.

I don't recognise 90% of the titles. :(

Probably a good thing, I spent a fortune when I was younger. Still have them, or most of them. They just sit in boxes.

Wonder which box has the Sandman issues in it.... hmm....

I buy these comics each week.



Now honestly, I go to Oxford Comics every week or two, but really, I buy nothing. Ever. Not even D&D things. I think the only things I've ever bought from my comic store for myself were Magic cards and a Cowboy Bebop soundtrack. Everything else I buy is for friends.

I know there are good comics, and I want to actually write comics, but I don't have the money to read them.

The main reason I maintain a list is because the owner will pull related stuff that he knows I might want to see and list-people get a 15% discount :)
 

No list, since I have no comic shop (sob) but I get these monthly without fail:

New X-Men (I've been very close to dropping this about four or five times in the past two years)

Uncanny X-Men (even clsoer to dropping until Casey left)

X-Treme X-Men (consistently excellent, even with the awful title)

Thor (only average lately, but very seldom outright bad)

There would be more, but I don't like any DC titles and the bookstore doesn't cary much else.
 


I've been tempted to try an online shop. I've bought from Lone Star Comics before, but I've heard bad things about Mile High. Never heard anything about Next Planet Over.
 

I am fortunate enough to work part time in a comic shop, so I get to read lots of stuff w/o having to buy it. I know, I am lucky. :D

I do buy the following every month:
Batman (as long as Lee & Loeb are on it)
Powers
Liberty Meadows (the only comic my wife likes)
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (which does not come out every month and is way late, I know).

I worked yesterday and it was really slow, hence, I read:
Sandman GN vol 3
Punisher GN (the one where he fights Wolverine and "the little people")
New Punisher (I am beginning to like Ennis more and more)
New New X-Men (I am beginning to like Morrison more and more).

I also read two chapters of some stuff for my comps. Like I said, it was REALLY slow.
