Seriously, I tried a while back to read the first three books and it was painful. I had never read them before and I got through about 1 1/2 books and I had to stop. The write was TERRIBLE. I really have nothing good to say. I was expecting at least decent things, given the apparent popularity of the series, but it was bad. Really, really bad.

Now that you´ve told us that "the write was terrible" (whatever that means), can you list what you didn´t like? As in, say a little bit more than "it sucks." This sparates the worthless rant from the interesting comment, you know. Content.
