*gah*! that sounds too cool! :)

I have some friends who had their wedding rings made out of some metal from a meteorite...would rather have the meteorite d20 than a meteorite wedding ring though ;)

How do you know it's really made of meteroite stone, and not just some regular odd stone? :)

They sold it as such and came with a numbered cert of authenticity, so I trusted them, also it is magnetic, I saw a guy doing a demo with a d4 and a magnet---saw that and said SOLD!

My dice came with that little AD&D intro quest pack thing, the Adventure Set, or something like that. I never bothered to switch to shiny new custom dice, as I like the multiple colors. That way, I can tell my 8's and 10's apart without thinking about it.

I usually spend about $20-25 bucks on a new set every year or two. I try and find a set of colors that matches the character I'm playing.

Human CN fighter = solid black and red
elven Druid Ranger = grenn and white
Human Rogue/ Illusionist = purple and blue

I know, I have more money than brains but its better than spending on the stock market.

A set for me is two of everything except sixers. I get a seperate cube of those.

I did spend $20 one time on a pair of solid brass six siders, standard size. They were very nice and very heavy. Most people hated it when I rolled them because if I didn't use a mat or something they would leave impact trails across a wood table.

They got swiped at small con about 12 years ago. I miss those dice.

I spent £15 (about $21) on 5 d6, hand made wooden dice with brass number digits, in a circular wooden case with brass dice once again inlaid on the top...
