What's up with all the R's?

Hey [MENTION=63]RangerWickett[/MENTION] et al,

I just couldn't help but notice that most of the countries (?) on the Zeitgeist map end in 'R'. I'm an odd duck; when I make maps, I try to deliberately make sure that nothing has the same first or last letter to make them unique in the player's minds. Is this deliberate on the author's part, or just a happy coincidence that no one bothered to comment on?

Completely intentional. They also all have different preceding vowels (or in the case of Drakr, none at all).

and the continent itself is Lanjyr

Aside from that, though, each country has its own linguistic identity. Ber is pseudo-Spanish, Danor is faux-French, and Risur has a lot of stout Anglo-Saxon style names. Drakr's half-German/half-Russian, and Crisillyir is sorta Italian, while what little remains of Elfaivar's culture has India-esque naming conventions.
