What's wrong with me?

Do you have gas power in your place? My girlfriend in college had this weird tiredness problem over a couple of months and it turned out to be there was a gas leak.

I was on medication for a while- SSRI stuff- Paxil and later Effexor-- it made me sleep about 9-10 hours a day. It was due to increased serotonin. The exact same effects can be achieved through diet or other circumstances. Like if you eat a lot of turkey or something with L-Tryptophan.

You might have mono!

[denial] I DO NOT HAVE MONO! [/denial]

Seriously, if I did, that would be bad, given that it's my first semester at my first real professor type job. I can't be sick for weeks.

I think the Coke is making things worse. Now, I have this tightness in my chest. This happened yesterday as well, after dinner.

Mono? Gas leak? Man, you guys are harsh.

Are you having any of these symptoms:

Here are signs that can mean a heart attack is happening:

* Chest discomfort. Most heart attacks involve discomfort in the center of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes, or that goes away and comes back. It can feel like uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain.
* Discomfort in other areas of the upper body. Symptoms can include pain or discomfort in one or both arms, the back, neck, jaw or stomach.
* Shortness of breath. May occur with or without chest discomfort.
* Other signs: These may include breaking out in a cold sweat, nausea or lightheadedness

Ya, you may want to see a doctor. Tightness in the chest after drinking a caffeneited beverage, which makes your blood vessels constrict, along with the lethargy can be warning signs.

None of us here are doctors. Any of us here who are doctors, and try to diagnose based upon a few words in an internet forum probably ought to get their licenses revoked. The internet is a doubleplusungood place to get medical advice.

However, you can still blame Rel. :D

We always do.

I know that no one here is a doctor and, even if someone is, internet medical advice is dodgy at best. I just wanted to share my pain.

If this feeling persists, I will go to a real doctor, particualrly because of what reveal is saying about the heart. There's lots of family history of heart problems; I'm only 29, but better safe than, well, dead.

Didn't consider the dionsaurs. Which are all Rel's fault.
