OSR What's Your Best Drop-In Content For A Sandbox?

I'm going to be running a sandbox and need some content to have back pocket for emergencies. This can be dungeons, small mysteries, or anything else that could last about a session. I'd like something I can drop in relatively seamlessly, that covers about 2 hours of gaming. Small collections of content are great for this (the Haunted Hamlet, for example). If we start getting into Daggerheart or anything uses completely different mechanics (like Powered By The Apocalypse), I'm not going to be able to use it as effectively.

So, what do you got?

Two hours? I've been in parties that spent longer than that buying gear at the local market :ROFLMAO: How big is your "sandbox" (village, kingdom, hex)?

The best drop-in content is old-school modules. If your players have already run through a bunch of them, you can restock the maps with whatever you want. If they'd recognize the maps, you can randomly generate some easy enough.

Modules and drop-in content. The Stygian Library, Book of Challenges (3X), Dungeon Delve (4E), Keep on the Borderlands (B/X), Against the Cult of the Reptile God (AD&D), Village of Hommlet (AD&D), Waking of Willowby Hall, Hole in the Oak, Knock!, and Cursed Scroll.

Resources: Worlds Without Number, Monster Overhaul, and The Mother of All X Tables.

Some great random map generators: Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator and Watabou's Procgen Arcana.

Lots of maps: Dyson Logos.

All stuff on my shelf.

It's worth checking out Trilemma Adventures. It's a collection of free 1-2 pagers that can be adapted for any system relatively easily. The downside is that they tend to have some theming and might require a little work to make fit your campaign.
Thanks - I'll take a look!

Yep, I'm looking for exactly a list of old-school modules! For now I'm just going down the "Best of Ten-Foot Pole" but I wanted to see what others had on their lists.

Stygian Library doesn't quite fit the vibe I'm going for (although Gardens of Ynn would! - great idea). I'll have to look re-look my old Book of Challenges and Keep on the Borderlands texts. Willowby Hall is already a foreshadowed location, Hole in the Oak is already back-pocket, I don't remember Knock! having dungeons?, and I will absolutely check out Cursed Scroll.

Thanks so much! Any other modules you enjoyed come to mind, please let me know!
