What's your favorite takeout?

Of course, the former Buffalo Wild Wings place in downtown Indy, now called Badaboomz, has a hamburger with a DONUT as a BUN!

Yah, I've seen Krispy Kreme burgers. Doesn't strike me as a good flavor combo, but someone must like 'em.

Holy crap, I think my heart stopped just reading that. Of course, the former Buffalo Wild Wings place in downtown Indy, now called Badaboomz, has a hamburger with a DONUT as a BUN!
Is it dipped in chocolate or glazed with sugar?

In Hawaii, we have dim sums with a lot of choice of filling, from char siu (the original "Pig in the Blanket") to pizza beef.

In a similar vein, I had a buddy who used to like the Monte Christo at Bennigans. If you don't know, its a sandwich with ham, cheese & strawberry preserves on grilled bread with powedered sugar. (See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monte_Cristo_sandwich )

He lamented that he didn't have the patience to make it at home.

Though the recipe struck me as repulsive, I used my mad "chefoid" skills to help him out: I told him to take the ham & swiss and place it between 2 toasted Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts!

That's just crazy enough to work!

I had Yats today for lunch. I think I need a nap now.

In Singapore, my favourite takeout is very simple: Hainanese chicken rice. Lots of chilli sauce but white meat only and no skin or bone. A side order of dumpling soup goes down well.

In Australia, my favourite takeout is chicken nasi goreng from a ship called Noodleland. It is actually better than any of the nasi goreng I have eaten in Singapore, Malaysia or Indonesia thanks, I think, to the chilli oil that it is cooked in. It's the only food I miss when I'm in Singapore (aside from the outstanding Szechuan chilli chicken and hot and sour soup that my local Chinese restaurant serves... but I can get both of those here).

My favorite takeout is the lemon chicken from King's Garden here in Beavercreek, OH. It isn't a traditional lemon chicken. It is more of a lemon pepper sauce, and it is EXCELLENT!
