OTHER

As in I don't.

I tried e-mail posting, yahoo group posting and playing through here and found all to be frustrating and lacking the social aspect that I like about gaming.

In each case there would be about 6 players. two replying within 6 hours of the newest post/reply and then the others when they got to it including a few weeks later. Then they get miffed when you make decisions for them to move the game along.

I would only run another internet game with people I know that will respond quickly.

Screen monkey plus voice-to-voice chat. Social aspect plus a decent board that's not trying to do all the rules for us.

Other for me: Open RPG and Web RPG. We will probably switch to FantasyGrounds soon, but a few of us have computer compatability issues.

I've tried play by post and just can't get into it, although I enjoy when my regular games advance the plot over messageboards or email/yahoo groups.

Maybe a new poll with more options would be better? ;)

1. Play by E-Mail
2. Play by Post
3. Play by Chat (IRC, etc)
4. Play by Messenger (ICQ, AIM, etc)
5. Online RPG Client (Open RPG)
6. Online RPG Client (Web RPG)
7. Online RPG Client (Klooge)
8. Online RPG Client (Fantasy Grounds)
9. Other (please specify)

Bye
Thanee
