I'll be getting 4e, and it'll probably wind up being my D&D of choice. Of course, right now, M&M still comes first in my heart, and if all goes well, so too will my homebrew system derived from it.

I'm definitely in the "I'll read and playtest before switching this to the group's preferred system" camp. I've got a dozen systems besides D&D that I find fun to play, so this one will have tp prove itself.

I voted that I've already decided to switch, but it's more accurate to say that I'll switch for a while, and if 4e is a step in the wrong direction for my group, we'll backpedal some. But from what I have seen, 4e looks Tony the Tiger GRRRREAT! (to my taste).

I'm not switching, or at least not in the foreseeable future; though I'll probably end up buying some 4e stuff to swipe ideas from (process already started with Worlds and Monsters).

If I ever were to switch, it'd only be after I'd done so much tweaking to the 4e RAW that it'd be barely recognizable; I can safely say this just from the tidbits of hard info that have been released so far. :)

I will look over the 4e books, before deciding to playtest it or not. I like my current campaign and do not intend to abandon it, so I shall continue to run it with 3.5e.

4e needs bards and druids, at a bare minimum, to be acceptable. It needs Savage Species, Stormwrack, and the Greyhawk Gazetteer, to be useful. It needs a DDI with full Mac compatibility, to be enticing.

I like pretty much everything I've heard about the 4e design goals and execution. Most of the things I'm not enthused about are specific details that I think will be easily house-ruled. I'll be buying the books and I strongly suspect that I will prefer 4e overall to 3.5e. That said, I'm not likely to start DMing 4e right away. I have a couple of campaigns I'd like to get through before switching, so it may be well over a year post-release before I switch with my primary gaming group. I'll likely try out 4e with another group or online.

I left 3E and never looked back. D20 Modern and Rolemaster have sufficed so far. I'm going to be playing DnD ONLY because of 4E, so I'm sold already. If they screw it up, well, back to d20 Modern and Rolemaster. :)
