Although recently I picked up the books from the 1st edition Forgotten Realms boxed set, and they are really cool. It's a shame that 2nd edition and later Forgotten Realms seem to suck all the fun out of the setting.

Other favorites: Pathfinder, Al-Qadim, Planescape, Spelljammer, Dark Sun (minus Psionics)
