Chauzu

First Post
Alright, finished Marine Combat Training. Fired some machine guns, blew some stuff up, oh yeah. Some cool stuff there. Now I'm here in Pensacola, FL for aviation ordnance school. It's a navy base, and yes the navy blows, but they got a good chow hall. Anyways, I've got to run, got to stand post tonight, but I'll be around longer tomorrow. Just checking back in here, ha. Peace!

Semper Fi,
Chauzu

Thank you for serving. Be careful out there. :)

Oorah! No problem. I'll be careful... as I'm getting it on with chicks at the clubs here, ha.

Besides sitting at a computer for 6 hours a day, that is all there is to do here is go clubbin'. Then next week I'll be cleaning the barracks for 6 hours a day instead. Whjeeee.

Anyhoo, I'm sure there's nothing much new going on here, huh? I'm sure I am missing a few books now though. :)

Whenever I get my books mailed to me I've gotta start up a new game or something. That would help me with my spare time, hehe.

Lord knows Pensacola is a nice change from Camp Geiger! LOL

If you get a chance stop by the chow hall over at NTTC Corry Station, it was the best one I ate at (keep in mind that was 15 years ago). Quite a few Navy personnel would come over from NAS for chow, as it was definitely better than the one over at NAS at the time. The Tradewinds Cafe also had some decent chow, it's a combination restaraunt/e-club/banquet hall on Corry.

Those kind of things often become a tradition, and a guy name "Krieg" must know something about wartime. ;)

Krieg - Do you remember the names of any of the civilian workers that Chauzu might be able to meet and make his stay a bit easier?

Eh? Where's Camp Geiger? 15 years was a while ago, but it is probably still good chow. I doubt a place like that wouldn't keep itself going good. But anyways, man the PT sucks here; waking up 4:00 in the morning to run 6 miles and lifts logs and storm beaches and trash. Boot camp had easier PT, ha. Oh well, I classed up into AO today, which means I'll be here for only 30 something days. I can live with a few more weeks of tough PT. Oh yeah, my 4th of July sucked, too. I had stinkin' duty section during the whole weekend. I got a good amount of sleep though, haha. Anyways, today has been a boring day, just walking around the base lookin' for people to bug. Might as well go see Shrek 2 tonight, or perhaps Troy again. Cheerio.

LOL actually it was just shortened from Kriegspiel. Many years ago I was a wargamer before moving into RPGs.

Well there was a time I was on a pretty friendly basis with most of the girls working at the Pensacola Hooters. Heck, I even took one to the Marine Corps Ball. Unfortunately that was circa 1989-90 and they are all probably a tad older than the young pup is looking for. :D

Luckily Pensacola is a target rich environment & Chauza will have no problems finding interesting companions to help him pass his libo.

(PS - "Libo" is slang for "liberty" NOT a corruption of "libido". lol)

Oops, forgot you were a Hollywood Marine.

Camp Geiger is on Lejeune and is the home of MCT/SOI for East Coast Marines.

Geiger had one of the nastiest chow halls it was ever my displeasure to dine in. The only worse experience I had was at the Camp Margarita (33 area) chow hall on Pendleton. I swear that the workers there were all products of the Gamma World mutation tables!!

Too slow, I've been to Hooters already. They had a couple of hotties there, as well as twins. :)

I have yet to dine at a good Marine chow hall. It seems to be all about the Navy chow halls.
