I would have had that posted sooner, but I had printed that out from an e-mail received a LONG time ago, so I had to type it in (and spellcheck) from scratch.

To top that off, my fiance was having her bridal shower tonight and I had to go down and help her haul all the gifts home, so it took me twice as long to get it posted.....

I lost track of time and had 5 minutes to drive halfway across town to get my breakfast at the Kwik Shop and make it to work this morning. I made it though......Halfway across town is only 5 blocks......

Tad Williams' Memory, Sorrow And Thorn? It's a bit like Wheel, but with more things like excitement, real characters, and a definite ending.

... and even more so when you get the in-jokes because you've been reading the newsgroup forever (I didn't realize quite how many their were when I posted the link).
